R
edcliffe Orthodontics currently holds a contract to provide NHS Orthodontics to those patients under the age of 18 and whose orthodontic problems make them eligible for NHS Orthodontics. Eligibility for NHS treatment is determined by using an internationally recognised index and NHS set criteria. The initial assessment appointment determines whether NHS criteria are fulfilled.
For those Teens whose orthodontic problems are not severe enough to qualify for NHS treatment, all is not lost. Treatment can be provided privately allowing you a wider choice of appliance types ranging from traditional metal braces to more discrete appliances like ceramic braces, Invisalign (aligner) braces or Hidden braces (Incognito, lingual type). Treatment is provided following a detailed consultation and treatment plan.
Your dentist shall be able to advise whether you might be eligible for NHS brace treatment and can refer you to us for an assessment if appropriate.
